Our mission goes beyond designing jewelry; we strive to create deeply personal heirlooms that celebrate life’s milestones in a way no other jewelry can. Every TRIT piece is made-to-order, ensuring there is no waste or overproduction. We use recycled precious metals and ethically sourced diamonds, creating meaningful designs that are as sustainable as they are sentimental. TRIT is not about trends—it’s about timeless, tactile jewelry that carries your story and can be passed down for generations.
Our Story
TRIT was born from a deeply personal moment. After the birth of her younger daughter, Jenny Syquia Skarne wanted a way to commemorate the day in a way she could physically connect with. She designed a ring that carried her daughter’s birth date in diamonds, then stacked it with rings celebrating the dates of her older daughter and husband of 27 years. Each time she touched them, she was reminded of those life-changing moments. That experience sparked an idea—what if jewelry could do more than symbolize a memory? What if it could create a physical connection to it?
That idea became TRIT and the TouchDate Technique, an innovation that allows wearers to actually feel their memories through jewelry. Inspired by the charm bracelets worn by her mother and grandmother, where each charm told a personal story, she set out to create modern heirlooms with the same deep emotional connection. TRIT pieces are subtle and meaningful—the significance is hidden in the design, known only to the wearer and those they choose to share it with.
When Jenny first shared the concept with two major jewelry factory managers, they told her it was the best idea they had ever heard. TRIT takes jewelry beyond aesthetics—it transforms it into a personal, sensory experience.
Our Designer
Jenny Syquia Skarne’s background has always been rooted in design and storytelling. She began her career at Vogue magazine in New York, where she developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. She later launched Bride Philippines, bringing a fresh perspective to the bridal industry.
She went on to co-found Charm and Luck Accessories, designing handbags and costume jewelry that blended the elegance of Stockholm with the creativity of Los Angeles. Her very first customer was Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), the world’s largest luxury goods company—an unexpected but inspiring start for a new brand. Her designs were later carried by Nordstrom, Harvey Nichols, and Henri Bendel, and she created private label collections for several U.S. retailers with hundreds of stores.
With TRIT, she has taken her love for design and storytelling in a new direction—creating timeless, tactile pieces that allow people to carry their most meaningful moments with them, every day, for a lifetime.
